Base operations for TNI in Kenya are in Ramba. This is a very rural community, with most people surviving through agrarian practices. Christianity has grown rapidly in Kenya over the last few decades, but very few churches have robust theological understanding. Because of this, many claim the name of Christ without a true understanding of what it means to follow Jesus.
