Rick Schwer
Rick has run his pavement marking business for over 40 years, but his heart is in global missions. After hearing a missionary speak in the late 1990s, he began traveling, first to Cuba and South America, and then to West Africa in 2014. Choosing to live in a village rather than a hotel, he discovered the power of deep relationships that open doors for trust and the gospel.
Since then, Rick has returned to West Africa regularly, investing in friendships that lead to opportunities for ministry. Whether with a team or alone, he is committed to encouraging believers and supporting sustainable projects that provide both work and witness. For him, missions is about long-term relationships that reflect Christ’s love and point people to Him.
